UNDER FLOOR HEATING SYSTEMS & INSTALLATION

What is Underfloor Heating?

Underfloor heating is a modern, energy-efficient heating system that provides comfortable, even warmth throughout your home by heating from the floor upwards. At Eco-Wright Energy, we design and install underfloor heating systems that work seamlessly with renewable technologies.
Underfloor heating operates at lower temperatures than traditional radiators, making it particularly efficient when paired with air source heat pumps.

The Benefits of Underfloor Heating

Installing underfloor heating with Eco Wright Energy delivers comfort, efficiency, and long-term value:

· Even, comfortable heat – Eliminates cold spots and draughts

· Improved energy efficiency – Operates at lower temperatures than radiators

· Ideal for renewable heating – Perfect partner for heat pumps

· Lower running costs – Reduced energy demand when correctly designed

· More usable space – No radiators mean greater design freedom

· Improved air quality – Less dust circulation than traditional heating

· Low maintenance – Long lifespan with minimal upkeep

· Suitable for most floor types – Tiles, stone, wood, laminate, and carpets

Underfloor heating is particularly effective in new builds, extensions, renovations, and open-plan living spaces.

Our underfloor heating installations are carefully planned to ensure maximum comfort and efficiency.

1. Property Survey
  • We assess insulation levels, room sizes, and floor construction to design an efficient system.

2. Bespoke System Design
  • Each system is custom designed. We calculate pipe spacing and specify the correct controls and manifolds.

3. Underfloor Heating Installation
  • Insulated panels are installed to prevent heat loss if required

  • Heating pipes are laid to the manufactures specification taking into account the floor construction

  • The system is pressured tested

  • The system is connected to a heat pump or boiler

  • All wiring is completed

4. Floor Finish & System Testing
  • Once the floor is completed, the system is balanced commissioned to ensure correct operation.

5. Handover & Ongoing Support
  • We explain system controls, thermostats, and zoning, and provide ongoing servicing and support.

Most underfloor heating installations are completed within 2–5 days, depending on system type and property size.
